He sported beach-chic apparel by Ann Demeulemeester, Kris Van Assche and Adam Kimmel. Harry Winston diamond studs to accompany the designer clothing, of course. Pharrell Williams Launches Tank Furniture Line in France

Pharell Williams, entrepreneur and music producer, has done it again. Not only is he a rapper, producer, and owner of Billionaire Boys Club/Ice Cream, he is a furniture designer! His friendship with Parisian gallery owner Emmanuel Perrotin, has allowed him to expand on further aspirations in areas of artistic ability. Williams' first line of furniture was inspired by Love and a scultpure in collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami; however, this second line shifted more towards war inspiration.

Russell Simmons X PEACEKEEPERS for the Streets of Queens

Russell Simmons recently visited his old neighborhood in Queens to promote peace and no violence. PEACEKEEPERS, the anti-violence campaign that was funded by Russell Simmons and founded by Dennis Muhammad, develops a strong presence of community men within fluctuating neighborhoods. The sole purpose behind the program is to help improve safety for women, children, and seniors. In addition, it increases pride in men and trust within the communities. Russell joined Cheryl Wray (Salt of Selt n' Pepa), Erica Ford of Bury Da Beef and many more who helped launch the brilliant program.
